In the industrial zone of Oostkamp Vice Verda realised a extensive green roof on a commercial building with depots and warehouses. Even on this type of functional roof, where intensive use is not planned, a green roof offers many advantages.
The vegetation layer of sedums requires minimal maintenance, but does produce a beautiful flowering result. The green roof provides extra insulation and helps to limit the heating of the building. An advantage not to be underestimated in this type of building.
